Dr. Saurabh Tiwari started his surgical career in 2013 after completing his M.B.B.S. from Topiwala National Medical College and B.Y.L. Nair Charitable Hospital, Mumbai. He did his postgraduation in General Surgery from Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Memorial Medical College and Hospital, Amravati after which he pursued an M.CH in Pediatric Surgery from Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College and Hospital, Sion, Mumbai under the guidance of Dr. Paras Kothari. He specializes in pediatric, neonatal, and laparoscopic surgeries. He has previously worked at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Hospital, Kandivali. He has also obtained a prestigious fellowship in minimal access surgery (FMAS) from AMASI (Association of minimal access surgeons of India).
Dr. Saurabh Tiwari operates on children from birth up till the age of 18 years and also does prenatal counselling of expectant parents with fetal abnormalities.

General Pediatric Surgery: Pediatric Surgery includes hernia, hydrocele, appendicitis, circumcision, swelling in the neck, etc.
Pediatric urology: including hypospadias, treatment of hydronephrosis, bladder stone removal, undescended testes, bladder exstrophy, bladder augmentation, Mitrofanoff procedure, ureteric reimplantation, etc.
Pediatric neonatal surgery: including diaphragmatic hernia tracheo-oesophageal atresia, intestinal atresia, malrotation, necrotizing enterocolitis, imperforate anus, etc.
Pediatric gastrointestinal surgeries: gastrointestinal surgeries includes Hirschsprungs’disease, intestinal obstruction, intestinal perforation, intussusception, Meckel’s diverticulum, etc.
Pediatric neurosurgery: Pediatric neurosurgery includes surgeries for myelomeningocele, encephalocele, meningocele, hydrocephalus(shunt surgeries), ventriculitis, etc.
Pediatric thoracic surgery: it includes pneumonectomy, empyema drainage via thoracotomy or keyhole (VATS-Video assisted thoracoscopy surgery), removal of swelling involving chest wall, chest tube insertion, bronchogenic cyst removal, surgery for congenital cystic adenomatoid malformation, congenital lobar emphysema and bronchopulmonary sequestrations.
